    The Reflexive Pronoun "себя"

The pronoun себя is translated as "-self" and declined like the personal pronoun "ты".  It cannot be the subject of a sentence and has no nominative case.

It can be used with any noun or personal pronoun, singular or plural.

Я купил это для себя.

I bought it for myself.

Она себе ни в чём не отказывает.

She does not deny herself anything.

Этот человек считает себя очень умным.

This man considers himself very clever.

Почему вы недовольны собой?

Why are you displeased with yourself?

Вы написали о себе?

Did you write about yourself?
